Dodge was immediately successful with the introduction of the redesigned Charger body for 1968. The 1968 Dodge Charger debuted the new body design, which was also called the "Coca-Cola model." The rounded body featured double arches on the doors and hood to accentuate all of the curved lines, so the car looked good on the street and in drag racing.
